We introduced an activity id which effectively allows a single API call to be made, to update millions of devices at once. This enables updates for live events, such as sports scores, broadening Apple’s design and intended use of Live Activities.

As a result, OneSignal is uniquely positioned to provide great real-time updates to power live activities.
Designed the pricing model for Live Activities to balance accessibility for developers with scalability for enterprise customers. By aligning the model with the company’s subscription goals and enterprise packaging strategy, I ensured that developers could easily try out the feature while also making it a valuable offering for larger businesses.
Given this was a new message area, I led a mix of webinars, community engagement, and early access programs, partnering with Sales and Marketing teams. Additionally, we leveraged strategic partnerships with Apple, NFL, MLB and other mobile-first companies.
