While browsers excelled at web browsing, they failed miserably as productivity platforms for enterprise workers. Financial professionals juggled dozens of mission-critical applications daily - trading platforms, research tools, communication systems, portfolio managers - but traditional browsers treated each as an isolated tab with zero intelligence. There was no context sharing, no workflow automation, no understanding of user intent. Every task required manual navigation, constant app switching, and repetitive data entry. The browser had become a productivity bottleneck, not an enabler.
Financial traders juggling 50+ applications daily, losing 2.5 hours to “toggle tax” between tools.
No connection between applications meant starting fresh with every task switch.
Browsers couldn't learn, predict, or automate - every action required manual intervention.

Digital assistant, where users can fully control their environment via a single interface and centralize tasks across all apps. Whether dealing with web or native apps, Home serves as a quick and painless launcher, saving users the trouble of scouring a crowded desktop for the right icon. In addition, search queries and other repetitive tasks can be automated, enabling users to focus on more valuable functions.
OpenFin Browser, built solely for work. Users gain control over everything they need to get their jobs done – data, apps, tasks and more – organized for maximum productivity. Users decide exactly which tools and data flows are incorporated and leave out the inessential ones, creating a more focused experience. Browser enables data to flow seamlessly across the desktop, eliminating tedious manual processes such as data entry. It also offers maximum configurability, so users can create complex, multi-monitor setups or choose from pre-made templates.
Read the announcementWith the introduction of Notification Center, we are, for the first time, starting to provide visual OS components that are critical to automating workflows. A default Notification Center eliminates the need for our customers to have to build their own and it creates standardization across the entire app ecosystem for everyone to use in Financial Services.
Advanced browser interface with cross-application workflow orchestration, intelligent tab management, and enterprise-grade security features that defined the future of browser design.
Designed intelligent note-taking and webpage summarization in 2020 - the exact feature that became Perplexity's $18B foundation.
Deployed context-aware application launching and intelligent task routing - now Arc Dia's primary competitive advantage.
In our Enterprise Browser, your apps can talk to one another using tab groupings to share context and drive workflow. No need to lose time rekeying the same information in multiple apps and searching for the app you need to use.
Our Chromium container provides all the tools you need to build Native Web Apps and deploy securely to locked-down desktops. Use our APIs to enable complex layouts, cross-app messaging, desktop notifications, secure OS access, and more.
Read about the latest featuresWe retain the Chromium multi-tenant model and allow applications, while isolated in their own render processes, to share the same browser process – optimizing memory and CPU consumption on the desktop.
We enable applications to run on the same desktop using different versions of OpenFin, all while maintaining interoperability between the applications. Development teams that are deploying to the same desktop can upgrade at their own pace while continuing to cross communicate with applications running on older versions of OpenFin.
We enable seamless and secure upgrading of the OpenFin version by simply changing a version in a manifest file.
We provide a secure, web-first developer experience and application model that strongly limits vulnerability to Cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
We ensure that downloaded code must always run in the Chromium sandbox and that any code sitting on the filesystem is signed and validated prior to loading.
We sandbox APIs with a system of central permissions so applications cannot access sensitive APIs without explicit permission from the owner of the desktop where the app is running.
